La mitad de los candidatos seleccionados en el sector TIC han tenido algún tipo de experiencia internacional, ya sea a través de prácticas profesionales o de haber trabajando un tiempo en el extranjero.

Además, el 85% tiene un nivel fluido de inglés u otros idiomas, algo tan valorado actualmente por las empresas. Todos estos factores generan que aquellos profesionales del sector que cuenten en su currículum con experiencia en el extranjero, pueden llegar a cobrar hasta 5.000 euros más que el resto, según datos de Page Personnel.

Así, a nivel salarial, estudiar o trabajar una temporada en el extranjero supone una ventaja, ya que el salario medio de estos candidatos se sitúa en34.000 euros brutos anuales, mientras que el resto obtendrá un sueldo de 29.000 euros. Los jefes de proyectos, con un salario cercano a los 45.000 euros, gozan de la mayor media salarial dentro del sector. En el otro extremo, están los consultores, que se dedican a la implantación de software, y cobran una media de 28.000 euros brutos anuales. Entre unos y otros, y con una masa salarial media de 30.000 euros al año, se sitúan los diseñadores, webmasters o maquetadores.

Además, formarse en el extranjero puede llegar a ser un importante valor añadido y las universidades han jugado un papel fundamental, promoviendo becas de todo tipo para sacar a los estudiantes españoles a adquirir experiencias internacionales. De hecho, el 50% de los candidatos seleccionados por Page Personnel han cursado todos sus estudios en el extranjero, y los que han optado por postgrados y cursos de especialización, lo han hecho también en el marco de las universidades, en colaboración con diferentes consultoras y escuelas de formación.
